MR SEAN HUNTE
Mr Carl Applewhaite
Mr. Applewhaite is a qualified trained graduate teacher who has been teaching English for the past eighteen (18) years, with experience in the C.S.E.C. English A and B, C.A.P.E. Literatures in English and S.A.T. syllabi. With a passion for the facility of language and the effective manipulation of such, he encourages his students to achieve superlative results, regardless of the year level.
He is able to assist students navigate the different challenges that SAT poses for most students, the required expansive vocabulary, ability to think critically, and the mandatory completion of assessments in a limited time frame. He maintains that although it is a different structure, there are principles which students can apply to their current C.A.P.E. programme.
Mr Sean Hunte
When I began teaching SAT Mathematics over a decade ago, I wondered how students would ever be able to achieve SAT success given the challenges posed by the SAT exam. However, with diligence and many hours of research I was able to develop a system that greatly assists students with mastering the SAT exam.
One of the most basic strategies is to know your strengths and weaknesses and effectively manage them.
Though the SAT exam is quite different from CXC C.S.E.C and C.A.P.E exams the content covered by both examiners complement each other.
I look forward to helping students master the SAT Mathematics component.
